Anyone who has ever adopted a senior dog will tell you that it is one of the most rewarding experiences of their lives. Some of Semper’s requirements narrow his adoption parent pool, but the right person will hit the absolute doggy jackpot.
Even though Semper lost one of his legs (he’s fully recovered from the ordeal), he is the life of the party and brightens the day of everyone he meets.
As an older, rather stately dog, Semper may not do well in houses with cats, other dogs, or children. However, he is bonded with another of our rescues, Haven, and would like to be adopted with her if possible.
If you are an experienced handler who loves smart, big dogs, these two are the perfect pair for you. Consider opening your heart twice as big—and you’ll multiply the love you receive many times over.
